Would you like to dive in the Swan lake in Russia?

Russian Theatre - worldwide known, by its elegance, prosperity and traditionalism. So what is it that makes it special?

First, I would note that Russian theatre performance is conducted in a traditional way. The performance start sharp after the third bell and no latecomers are allowed inside the theatre. They will have to wait until intermission to come inside again. In total there are 3 bells, one is 5 min in advance, the other is 2 min and the last is right at the time of the performance.

The costumes are luxurious and made to order for each performer. The outlook changes rapidly and of a high quality. The performances include the nationally well-known actresses, ballerinas or actors. It is an honour to perform on a stage of a Russian Theatre. Every performance is very-well known and trained and rarely modified. The troupe is changing only if the main one goes on worldwide tour.

The theatre is usually closed for the summer and re-opens with astonishing performance on September 3 (varies on the theatre).

There are only a few of theatres which are open throughout the summer. One of which is famous Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. There, you can watch opera and ballet performances, such as Nutcracker and Swan Lake.
